King
Benjamin Project News
March 2006
The King Benjamin Project
received a donation of missionary clothing through a clothing
drive sponsored by HaleStorm Entertainment and New Harmony Pictures,
filmmakers for "Suits on the Loose", together with Mr.
Mac , a well-established, state-wide suits and apparel company.
What an overwhelming
surprise it was to see the quantity of items, and in many cases,
the quality. Here is what we counted after sorting through the donation.

| Neighbor Boyd Cox
and myself (Thor Lindstrom) and the van which delivered the
clothing to my home in Kaysville. |
A total of 498 items
were donated.
We have sorted out and
identified 318 items that are appropriate to send to areas in Argentina
and Peru for their local missionaries. Specifically:
52 suits (3 new)
46 pair of pants (7 new)
39 white shirts (16 new
3 overcoats
127 ties (many new)
11 belts
27 pair of socks
6 pair of shoes
2 sweaters
2 skirts
13 handkerchiefs (new)
The other items will
be donated to 2nd hand stores in the Davis County area.
On behalf of Ropa Rey
Benjamin, I'd like to thank all of you who made this effort possible.
This quantity of clothing is similar to the total number of items
(358) that were sent in 14 shipments in all of 2005.
